Measure launches as fully open-source Crashlytics alternative with MCP-accessible debugging agent
Arindam_1729 · x · 2026-11-02
Measure is a fully open-source (Apache 2.0, 1.4k+ stars) alternative to Firebase Crashlytics for mobile monitoring.
- Problem: when a user taps Checkout and the app crashes, you only get a context-free stack trace
- Approach: Measure records the whole session — cold launch, every tap, add-to-cart, the HTTP POST, and the crash — on one timeline with session replay, so you jump straight to the root cause
- Measure Agent: ask it from Slack or your coding agent over MCP and it explains what happened, e.g. "they tapped Checkout before choosing a payment method"
Monitors crashes, ANRs, bugs and performance across Android, iOS, Flutter and React Native.
