Kanzo update: one shared kanban board across machines, a 4 MB binary using 4.5 MB RAM
allmudi · reddit · 2026-11-02
The author updated Kanzo, a lightweight kanban board for working with coding agents, adding live multi-machine sharing: run kanzo share on on one machine and kanzo join <address> on others, so all your devices and agents work from the same task board. It works directly on a home network, over Tailscale remotely, and a Raspberry Pi can host the board persistently.
Performance stays the same: 2 ms startup, a 3,000-task board loads in 17 ms, and sharing adds no overhead for agents. A Backlog setting keeps tasks off-limits to agents until moved to todo. Note there's no login on the shared board, so keep it on a trusted network or VPN.
