GitHub's Spec Kit hits 120K stars by flipping vibe coding: spec before code
Arindam_1729 · x · 2026-11-01
GitHub's open-source Spec Kit has crossed 120K stars by flipping the vibe coding workflow: define the plan before the AI writes code. The agent first understands the goal, asks clarifying questions, produces a structured specification, plans architecture, breaks work into tasks, and only then implements — via commands like /constitution, /specify, /clarify, /plan, /tasks and /implement.
