Least Privilege and Checkpoints: Two Pillars of Reliable AI Agents
goyalshaliniuk · x · 2026-11-01
Two more harness techniques from the thread:
- Context & state management: give agents only task-relevant context, maintain working memory and task progress, persist checkpoints so agents can resume after interruptions instead of starting from zero.
- Secure tool access: each agent gets only the permissions its task requires, validate tool inputs/outputs before execution, require human approval for sensitive or irreversible actions.
