Solo dev ships Pokemon-like roguelite autobattler built with Claude Code; Steam playtest live

Indie developer superfatbeagle released Tinymon Tactics, a monster-collecting roguelite autobattler built mostly with AI; the Steam playtest is open (Request Access grants instantly).
- Gameplay: 3 maps of 10 levels per run; buy monsters in a shop, merge 3 copies into evolutions; fights auto-resolve on a hex board; in-run items shape strategy, between runs you upgrade your camp
- Origin: started a year ago in Google AI Studio as an experiment, expecting to hit an unmaintainable spaghetti-code wall — instead it went all the way to a shippable product
- Tooling: moved to Antigravity, then Claude Code, which was "night and day"; the whole game was built on a Claude Pro plan
Still in active development with rough balance; the dev is soliciting playtest feedback and happy to share the AI workflow.
