YC-backed RightNow launches streaming decision model with 30ms text decisions
iamrobotbear · x · 2026-11-01
YC startup RightNow released its first "System Zero" model, built for decisions on inputs that never stop arriving.
- Existing decision models wait for the full input before answering once — fine for support tickets, but not for robots, phone calls, or video feeds
- RightNow takes text, PDFs, images, voice, code, robot state and video in one model, streaming up to 1M tokens of context and updating its decision as each piece arrives, with a probability for every option
- 30ms decisions on text (kernel optimizations planned), up to 1,024 questions per call, free output
- Trained via their "Reflex Training" approach: deciding on whatever has arrived so far instead of waiting
