Dev vibe-codes Pai: a full paint app with built-in AI generation in one canvas

A Reddit user released Pai 1.0, a paint app they vibe-coded with DeepSeek: a full raster painting tool with built-in AI image generation sharing the same canvas and layers — no more hopping between ComfyUI, a browser and Photoshop. Features include a stamping brush engine with 18 blend modes, 14 JSON presets, fill with gap closing, mesh warp, editable text, non-destructive per-layer filters, plus AI generation with ControlNet, region prompts, layout controls, references, background removal and upscaling (zimageturbo seen in screenshots). The author admits not comparing with InvokeAI or Krita AI Diffusion — it was built purely around their own workflow.
