ComfyUI Batch Timer Nodes v0.2.3 Add Triple Timing Modes, Smart ETA and Watchdog
HermanKwan · reddit · 2026-11-01
Developer HermanKwan released v0.2.3 of his open-source ComfyUI timer nodes, which track macro-level batch loop durations (e.g., 50 images via a Sequential Loader) that ComfyUI doesn't natively support.
- Three switchable modes: COMPUTE (pure GPU time, pausable), TOTAL (wall-clock including all waits), and ETA (a 30/70 blend of global average and latest iteration cost that starts counting down after the first image)
- Color-coded counters: interrupted or errored runs now keep exact progress like [ 12 / 50 ], with blue/green/yellow/red state colors
- Ghost-timer prevention: an adjustable 5–480 min watchdog pings the backend /prompt API and safely stops if the backend is dead
Two nodes: Batch Image Timer and Universal Timer (video/audio/training pipelines with dynamic unit mapping like FRAMES/CLIPS/STEPS). Both are free, open source, and live on ComfyUI Manager.
