Cursor ships Agent SDK, the framework behind Bugbot, with one-command deploy
dean_rie · x · 2026-11-01
Cursor released the Agent SDK — the same framework it uses internally to build managed agents like Bugbot, Security Reviewer, and Rollouts. Developers can define agents in code, start from a template or point their coding agent at the docs, and deploy to Cursor's infrastructure with a single agent-sdk deploy command.
The pitch is building agents around your team's actual workflow: agents respond to events teams already handle (PR events from GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) and follow policies the team can inspect and change. Example use cases include code review — assessing change risk, routing to the right team, and auto-approving changes that meet policy. One internal Cursor team built kb-reviewer in about a day; it now checks every PR in their main codebase against a fast-growing knowledge base of past decisions.
