Cloudflare Durable Objects now defer code updates up to 300s by default

Cloudflare announced that Durable Objects now defer code updates by default: after a deploy, an active object can keep running its current code for up to 300 seconds while waiting to hibernate, preventing in-flight work and open connections from being interrupted.
If the object hibernates within the delay window, it picks up the new code on its next request; otherwise it resets and adopts the new code. Teams can override with an immediate strategy via codeupdatestrategy. WebSocket connections using the Hibernation API stay connected across the update. This is aimed at workloads like long-running agents, where frequent deploys would previously kill in-flight agent turns.
