Humansand launches &Tutor, a tutor model trained by first modeling how people learn
niloofar_mire · x · 2026-10-30
Startup Humansand introduced Ampersand Tutor (&Tutor), built with a two-stage approach: first train a student model that learns like a person, then train &Tutor to teach it. On a widely-used tutor model eval, &Tutor performed best, which the team says shows better models of people can help build AI for humans. Available via their API.
