Autonomous announced that Lamp, its fully-assembled open-source companion robot, is now shipping, with the first batch packed for homes, offices and classrooms in over 20 countries.
Priced at $969 (less in bulk), Lamp lets users customize its voice and personality, understand real-world objects via its camera, connect to agent workflows, and integrate with smart home setups. The company is also courting developers to build robot experiences for shops, teams, schools and events, supplying the hardware and OS while builders bring ideas and customers.
