Claude Code dynamic workflows: global functions, editable JS, rerunnable
lydiahallie · x · 2026-10-29
Lydia Hallie explains Claude Code dynamic workflows: agent(), pipeline(), parallel() etc. are just globals in the script—no imports needed. Ask Claude to "make a workflow that does X," it writes the file, then you save it from /workflows and rerun as /name. She adds they don't need hundreds of subagents—even 10 works for any task you want rerun the same way; being editable JavaScript gives full control over subagents and execution order, more predictable than a skill.
