Ex-startup designer builds Briiq, a 'Cursor for designers' where designs are real React code
coelhod · reddit · 2026-10-29
Daniel, a solo startup designer for 5+ years, is building Briiq — an AI-native IDE for designers positioned as 'Cursor for designers'. Frustrated that Figma designs were 'just drawings' needing developer translation, he built a tool that looks like a design app but where every element is real shadcn/React code in your own repo; you edit by hand or prompt a coding agent, and nothing needs handoff. First product: Briiq Slides, with UI and diagram editors planned. Not launched yet; demo at letsbriiq.it.
