New startup Cotidal, based in Palo Alto, is building "supercomputers for AGI," arguing that silicon, software and site must be co-designed to serve the exponential compute demand driven by machine intelligence.
The backers are notable: the team includes creators of LLVM, TensorFlow and TPU, with investors behind HuggingFace, Modular, SemiAnalysis, CoreWeave, Tenstorrent and LightMatter involved. The company is hiring and open to candidates defining their own roles.
