Xcode simulators each store 25.5 GiB of Siri models separately, dev complains
Dimillian · x · 2026-10-28
iOS developer Dimillian complains that Apple hasn't optimized how simulators work: his workflow creates tons of simulators, and each one still owns its own copy of Siri models and related assets. A screenshot shows "Downloaded Apple system assets" at 25.5 GiB — Siri models, language data, voices, ContextKit — stored separately per simulator.
