Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.7 jumps to #3 in Image Edit Arena, ahead of Grok and Google

Microsoft's new MAI-Image-2.7-Preview now ranks #3 on the Image Edit Arena with 1,470 points, up from #7 for the previous version. Only OpenAI's two GPT Image 2.5 models (1,515 / 1,483) score higher; it edges out Grok Imagine (1,439) and Google's Nano Banana 2.1 (1,427).
The poster notes hardly anyone talks about Microsoft in image AI, yet it's now closer to OpenAI than Google is at image editing.
