Alibaba Tongyi MAI open-sources 9B model that controls phones and PCs

Alibaba's Tongyi MAI team released MAI-Gym-9B (Apache 2.0), an open-source model that can operate both phones and computer GUIs.
- Sim-to-real RL lifts task success rate from 28.8% to 48.1%
- Trains with up to 20K parallel environments
- Claimed SOTA among open GUI agents under 10B
The model is live on Hugging Face.
