Microsoft AI's MAI-Image 2.7 Preview landed at #3 overall in LMArena's Image Edit Arena with 1470 points, making it the #2 model by lab and ahead of GPT-Image-2 — a +45 point jump from 2.6 at #7. It improved in every category: #3 in Product/Branding/Commercial Design, Portraits, and Photorealistic & Cinematic Imagery; #4 in Text Rendering and Cartoon/Anime/Fantasy; #5 in 3D Imaging & Modeling.
