Hermes Desktop goes browser-based: chat, files, Git and persistent terminal anywhere
Teknium · x · 2026-10-27
Hermes Desktop just broke free of the desktop: BearHuddleston's PR was merged, bringing the hermes webapp that serves the full Hermes Desktop from your own host to any browser. Features include chat, files, Git, remote sign-in, and a terminal that survives page refreshes — your entire command center, anywhere. Teknium notes early adopters can try it now by switching their Hermes Agent release channel from "stable" to "main".
