Manus on rebuilding itself as an AI-native org: expose interfaces, demand evidence, go async
dotey · x · 2026-10-27
dotey distills Manus's first-hand writeup "Using Manus to Rebuild Manus" on becoming an AI-native organization:
1. Infra shifts from human-friendly to AI-exposed — unify repos behind one entry point, let agents run e2e tests in seconds, grant agents access to prod logs, alerts, email and feature flags. "Whatever humans can see and do, agents must see and do." Once agents can verify their own results, they go from copilot to driver.
2. Interaction shifts from micromanagement to goals-plus-evidence — paste Slack requests verbatim, tell the agent what not how; use the best model as a code-review bot, and have agents walk through signup/payment flows on test accounts with screen recordings as proof.
3. Workflows shift from humans-waiting-on-agents to agents-waiting-on-humans — highly async, massively parallel: many agents working concurrently, humans stepping in only at key checkpoints.
