OpenAI internal model claims refutation of ETH; top TCS scholars to review

Ryan Williams announced that an internal model at OpenAI has produced a claimed refutation of ETH (the Exponential Time Hypothesis), a cornerstone conjecture in theoretical computer science.
Russell Impagliazzo, Mohan Paturi, and Williams have been asked to help organize an open and independent examination of the claim. Scott Wu and others amplified it in disbelief. Proof materials and a message to the TCS community have been made publicly available.
