Based on deal values disclosed in Anthropic's S-1, @ns123abc estimates the chip mix of its 11 GW of contracted compute:
- NVIDIA GPUs 4.7 GW (42%): 3.2 GW via SpaceXSI, 1.5 GW via Microsoft, Nscale, Lambda and others
- Google TPU 4.5 GW, nearly matching NVIDIA
- AWS Trainium 1.2 GW
- AMD GPU 0.8 GW (49% NVIDIA share incl. AMD)
The S-1 confirms a strategic NVIDIA partnership covering Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems, plus direct collaboration on future hardware design. Figures are converted at public $/GW-year benchmarks; the S-1 does not disclose GW directly.
