CapCut announces ChatGPT plugin: draft videos in chat, refine in its web editor

CapCut announced at CapCut World LA a new plugin for ChatGPT: users start with an idea in the chat, use CapCut's editing and generation tools to produce a draft video inside ChatGPT, then hand off the draft to CapCut's web editor for refinement and publishing. Commenter Laurence Moroney liked that the handoff to a real editor is built in — describing edits conversationally instead of dragging clips on a timeline.
