YUBI (Yielding Universal Bidigital Interface) is an open-source hardware design for a finger-driven teleoperation glove and robot gripper by a Toyota engineer. Key points:
- Finger-driven actuation: the gripper follows the operator's fingers directly, enabling fine-grained control
- VR-based tracking for pose estimation
- Full CAD models, BOM, and assembly instructions released for reproduction
- Demo videos show it manipulating small objects with a two-finger gripper
