Hobbyist teaches StackChan robot to read scripts with Grok and Hermes-Agent
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-10-26
A maker showed off his M5Stack StackChan desk robot "Nous Girl" performing a MicroDuck script. By wiring in Grok's bot and Nous Research's Hermes-Agent, he keeps adding skills via simple JSON configs — this time teaching the robot to read a script aloud, jokingly calling it a "robot actor." Next he plans to try a more emotionally expressive voice model. His takeaway: adding agentic AI to any robot or toy unlocks an experience most people have never had before.
