KAIST's humanoid v0.9 showed off new capabilities: using onboard vision, reinforcement learning, and learning from human demonstrations, it pushes objects weighing up to 35 kg and lifts up to 20 kg to spell out "KAIST" — finishing with a moonwalk.
The demo combines heavy-duty manipulation with showmanship, indicating mature force control and visual perception.
