Four storage pivots broke my AI editor; Memos 1.0 mutates context in place

A developer recounts a classic vibe-coding failure: a simple CSV script pivoted to SQLite, then JSON files, then Redis — and by turn 20 the agent's append-only prompt history held four conflicting storage schemas at once, producing code that opened SQLite connections to parse JSON and cached rows in keys that should have been deleted. Standard context compacting fails here: it either keeps the dead noise (wasting 80% of tokens) or blindly summarizes away logic still needed. His fix is the new memos 1.0, which mutates state in place — when the architecture pivots, the stale slot on disk is replaced before context is passed back, keeping the active window clean.
