Git pushes quadruple to 320M per quarter as vulnerability counts lag — LLMs said to boost code security

@lumpenspace shared a chart of global Git pushes: from 80M per quarter in Q1 2020 to 320M in late 2025/early 2026, a steep exponential. He argues that discovered vulnerabilities grew far slower than pushes, suggesting LLMs clearly increased the share of secure code. The reposter adds that the old GitHub-commits-predicting-CVEs pattern still holds and calls this a fairly chill exponential.
