Dev builds Supply Drop, a Grok-powered disaster recovery assistant with four practical desks
seanmcdonaldxyz · x · 2026-10-24
Developer Sean McDonald used Grok to build Supply Drop, a demonstration app for the hours and weeks after floods, fires, and storms. It offers four "desks": a resource finder that lists real public channels without inventing shelter addresses; a rejection desk that dry-runs a reviewer to show what proof FEMA/insurance/loan files are missing; a toxicity guide for smoke, floodwater, mold, and ash; and a recovery-capital planner sequencing insurance, FEMA, SBA, and nonprofit aid to avoid double payments or missed steps. Notes stay in-browser, and the app explicitly disclaims being emergency response, legal, or medical advice.
