Dev wires Codex into a self-made VST synth and Reason via MCP, letting AI jam live in his studio
Yamapama · x · 2026-10-23
A fun demo of an "AI musician" setup: the author had Codex build a VST soft synth usable in Ableton / FL Studio / Reason, added MCP support to the plugin, then gave Codex computer use and MCP access to both Reason and the VST.
The result: Codex is now jamming and making music in real time on its own in his studio — a counterintuitive demo chaining a coding agent, MCP, and a music production toolchain.
