Researcher details his 100k-line personal agent system built around Obsidian and Telegram

Researcher Simone Scardapane shares a full write-up of the personal agentic system he's built over four months, "A second brain that talks back."
- Started in June as a Telegram bot saving notes into his Obsidian vault (plain-text Markdown) used as context/memory for AI agents; it grew into an assistant organized around "threads," each owning part of his life — research group, courses, reviewing, calendar. They save papers, manage to-dos, prepare meeting briefs, read allowed emails, and remember corrections.
- Scale as of October: 900 commits, 100k lines of Python (tests included) plus a 7k-line TypeScript app, 2,300+ unit tests, 1,000 notes, 1,200 exchanges.
- Accessed from his phone via a web app called Arianna (screenshots show threads, morning briefs, to-dos).
- Most of the system was written by coding agents in long conversations; writing it up end-to-end is his way of verifying he still understands it.
