dsh-prompt-layer plugin injects your rules into DSH's system prompt, overriding AGENTS.md
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-10-22
A common DSH (DeepSeek Harness) frustration: AGENTS.md rules get ignored because they're injected as ordinary user messages, and the system explicitly won't override system-level instructions.
The open-source dsh-prompt-layer plugin uses the official interface to write your rules into the final layer of the system prompt, ranked after all built-in rules and truly taking priority over workspace instructions. Zero dependencies, tested, MIT-licensed, and it ships no policy of its own — you write the content (inline or from a file).
Setup: drop the repo into /.dsh/profiles/desktop/plugins/dsh-prompt-layer, add an insert block in cordis.patch.yml pointing at ./plugins/dsh-prompt-layer/lib/index.js with your rule text, save, and it takes effect within seconds or on restart.
