Angler: small sequence model challenges larger models on RNA splicing and variant effect prediction
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-10-22
At ASHG 2026, Hao Yu will present Angler, a small sequence model for RNA splicing and variant-effect prediction that challenges much larger models with remarkably few parameters ("fewer than the pixels of its logo"). It's a collaboration with Yang I. Li's lab at U Chicago, with a preprint coming soon.
