Supabase ships unified .NET SDK v8: all packages in one repo, one version number
dshukertjr · x · 2026-10-22
Supabase's .NET SDK v8 is now officially supported. Previously the packages lived in separate repos with independent versions (Gotrue on v6.x, Realtime on v7.x, the umbrella package on v1.x); from v8.0.0 every package—Gotrue, PostgREST, Realtime, Storage, Functions and the main supabase package—ships together from a single repository (supabase/supabase-csharp) with a lockstep version number, making upgrades far easier. Old repos are archived read-only. A new package, Supabase.Extensions.DependencyInjection (on NuGet), registers the Supabase client with the .NET service container and lets IHttpClientFactory manage its HttpClient—the recommended setup for ASP.NET Core. The jarring jump from v1.x to v8.0.0 was a one-time price for lockstep versioning.
