abhisek · hn · 2026-10-21
SafeDep reports that LiteLLM 1.107.0 on PyPI was compromised in a supply-chain attack: the tampered package steals credentials and installs a backdoor upon installation. LiteLLM is a widely used LLM API gateway library — developers should immediately verify their installed version to avoid leaking API keys and other secrets. Another real security incident targeting the AI development supply chain.
