SmartChunksBlog reports cutting protein generation from 5.12 seconds to 1.35 seconds, mainly by reducing 400 sampling steps down to 60. The implementation, RFD4-Proteina, is open-sourced on GitHub so anyone can benchmark it on their own protein targets.
