Ex-DeepMind researcher launches Juice, turning any HTTP endpoint into a paid AI action
AdaptiveAgents · x · 2026-10-21
After years of asking whether a decentralized, economically inclusive, safe AGI is possible, the ex-DeepMind author released Juice (Beta, juiceos.org): an "intelligent internet" where you ask for outcomes rather than search. Juice terraforms the existing web—any HTTP endpoint becomes a typed, priced action anyone can call, pay for, and compose. Key features: composable actions with sub-budgets (a service sells a report for $1 and auto-buys $0.20 of data + $0.15 of analysis), delegated execution across services/agents/humans, blockchain micropayments, signed receipts and cross-node reputation that preserve buyer privacy, and support for pausing on human approval with reserved funds. Existing HTTP/OpenAPI services join without rebuilds.
