Open-source X helper uses a model to detect AI replies, adds engagement tools
vista8 · x · 2026-10-21
A developer released a free, open-source Chrome extension for heavy X users focused on cutting noise:
- Uses a Jev-based model to detect AI-generated replies, with manual labeling and blocking
- Improved @-mention flow: insert mentions for accounts you've interacted with and flag pending replies
- Shows exact follower counts, mutual-follow status, and predicts post virality
- One-click X article publishing with automatic image/video upload
- Extras: advanced search syntax, custom sidebar, bookmark export to Markdown
The project is open source on GitHub with a demo video.
