Free Mac screen recorder HuaStudio hits App Store charts on the strength of one promo video

Indie developer Huashu's Mac app HuaStudio, a free Screen Studio alternative, launched two months ago and went through seven versions with little traction — until one promo video pushed it to #53 on the App Store Photography & Video chart.
HuaStudio auto-edits as you record: it tracks every click and generates camera moves automatically, with smooth cursor paths, camera PiP, separate mic/system audio tracks, privacy redaction, timeline editing, one-click GIF export — all processed locally. It even lets you copy code after recording so an agent can do the editing.
