Community builds 4 GUIs for the Pi coding agent as official client stalls

With no official GUI on the roadmap, the Pi coding agent community has shipped its own front-ends:
- Morse: a VS Code + browser UI that reuses Pi's RPC mode and config — multi-project, multi-session, image paste, task interruption
- Pi Desktop: a cross-platform (macOS/Windows/Linux) workbench bundling chat, file editing, terminal and Git diff review, plus usage stats
- Pi Web: a browser UI reusing local Pi sessions for chat, model switching and project files (screenshots show it producing a structured codebase tour)
- pi-ahp: exposes Pi sessions to VS Code via Agent Host Protocol
The post also highlights three plugins: pi-gemini-acp (Google Search/research/file analysis), pi-ask-codex (Codex as a review tool callable from Pi), and pi-claude-delegation (Claude Code as a delegable sub-agent) — a stack where Gemini researches, Codex reviews, Claude codes, and Pi orchestrates.
