OmniGraph Open-Sourced: Git-Style Branches and Merges for AI Agent Memory
techNmak · x · 2026-10-21
ModernRelay open-sourced OmniGraph, an object-storage-native graph database in Rust (MIT) that brings Git workflows to AI agent memory: per-agent branches, commits, diffs, and three-way merges against a common ancestor, so multiple agents can edit a shared knowledge graph without overwriting each other. Features include typed ontology enforced on every write, unified retrieval (graph traversal + vector ANN + BM25 + RRF), time travel across the graph, and declarative cluster.yaml config with plan/apply. Data format is open Lance.
