Ramp Router ships org-level controls as rivals pitch teams on dodging OpenRouter's 5.5-8% fees
KlausCodes · x · 2026-10-21
Ramp Router rolled out a batch of admin-focused features to ease org-wide onboarding:
- Org management: invite engineers, assign co-admins, give everyone their own API key with a one-line install for coding agents, plus routing strategies per team.
- Policies: configure which models/providers are allowed and set data retention at org and individual levels.
- Spend controls: budget caps for the org, each person, and each API key, with org-wide spend visibility.
- Key management: view everyone's keys and share provider keys.
The pitch: teams paying OpenRouter's 5.5% (Standard) or 8% (Business) platform fees on top of list prices can save that margin by switching, with the promoter offering to onboard NYC/SF teams in person.
