Kidger flags *-omics reproducibility issues as RN bets on genomic data
PatrickKidger · x · 2026-10-21
Patrick Kidger raises concerns about RN's use of -omics data: the core problem is poor cross-experiment reproducibility, and word-of-grapevine says the Geneformer line of work a few years ago burned a lot of folks in big pharma without going anywhere. He adds that large-scale genomic data is old hat in genomics — much of it from the RN founders' own past public work — and would like to hear what RN is actually doing differently.
