Holon-S1 surfaces potential novel biomarker: spatial EREG gene activity correlates with chemo response in TNBC
iScienceLuvr · x · 2026-10-21
Using Holon-S1, the Holon team analyzed a triple-negative breast cancer cohort and discovered a potentially novel biomarker: the spatial arrangement of EREG gene activity correlates with chemotherapy response — a link not previously reported for this cancer.
The finding is checkable by biology researchers rather than a black-box score. Accompanying charts show Holon-S1's gEREG prediction reaching AP 0.690 on the IMPRESS discovery cohort and 0.754 on the TransNEO held-out test, beating the standard sTIL% metric (0.567/0.505) on both.
