gregd_nlp · x · 2026-10-20
Researchers launched SnapJudge, a free, open AI detector for scientific writing including math. It accepts PDF screenshots, pasted text/LaTeX, or an arXiv link.
Running it across arXiv, roughly 1 in 3 new math papers are flagged as mostly AI-written, up from near zero in early 2025; CS papers hit 45%.
