Open-Source SnapJudge Finds Roughly a Third of New Math Papers Likely AI-Written

Researchers released SnapJudge, a free open-source AI detector tailored to scientific and mathematical writing, and found that about a third of new arXiv math papers appear largely AI-generated, with a false positive rate as low as 0.005% by design.
