User builds a fully local photo browser app with Claude Opus to tame 10k photos
chaseleantj · x · 2026-10-19
chaseleantj shares that after tiring of digging through 10k photos scattered across directories, he had Claude Opus build him an app to browse all photos on his laptop — and it just works.
Highlights: 100% local, semantic multilingual search, drag & drop to find similar photos. He adds that Opus is also "unreasonably good" at making launch videos like this.
