Stripe's Link now powers ~200 AI agents as agentic commerce volume turns 'material'

Stripe shared exclusive data with Upstarts on agentic commerce via Link. Dan Hill, head of consumer product for Link, says the tool now powers 200 AI agents — more than double the 70 measured when Stripe crunched September spend data. Instinct, Meta's Muse, Grok Bot, Skydive and Town all check out on users' behalf through Link; Anthropic and OpenAI use Link but not yet for agentic commerce. Agents remain small next to Link's 300M users across Airbnb, Uber and others, but Hill says usage "is becoming very material," and Stripe runs Slack channels and daily stand-ups with each agent to keep up with weekly launches.
