PM drowning in 10 routing pings a day builds a 'Company OS' in Slack that answers with sources

A former PM/VP of Product, now founder of a media company with 5 revenue lines, says he got at least 10 'who owns this?' pings a day — 8+ hours a week of human routing. So he spent 10 days building a Company OS and tested it on his own team.
Key design choices:
- Ask where you already work: Slack, Telegram, iMessage (GitHub for power users); nobody learns a new tool
- Answers come with sources: the system answers 'who owns this?' and 'what did we decide?' with citations
- Skill sharing: recurring workflows become skills — run-only (teammates get finished output in 21–85s at $0.08–$0.32 per run) or open-shared into the company repo with credit
- Governance: team connection scores, roles/permissions, human approval gates, adoption dashboards
Day-one test: the bot read 12 months of sponsor emails and found 3 sponsors who'd asked for a media kit; a one-line Slack prompt produced a PRD, prototype plan, engineering spec, and task list in 3 minutes — the media kit page went live after human approval.
